Monastery of the Holy Cross at Mapsos

North of the village of Mapsos is the Holy Monastery of the Holy Cross. It is a relatively new nunnery with great intellectual and productive work. It was founded in 1989. The monastery is visible due to its size and by the E.O. Corinth-Tripoli. Access is only from the village of Mapsos.

It is noteworthy that the Monastery has a significant productive work of livestock products from its rich farm. Nun’s milk is also available on the shelves of the largest supermarket chain in the country and this is a success based solely on product quality.

 

In the building facilities of the Monastery, there are camps, in which every summer, in all periods, a total of about a thousand girls are hosted.
