The Corinthian Carnival 2026 presents a rich and diverse programme of events, unfolding across the city centre and the wider municipal area, inviting visitors of all ages to experience Carnival through music, dance, family activities, traditional customs and large-scale festivities.
Blending contemporary entertainment with local traditions, the Carnival transforms Corinth into an open, welcoming celebration, offering memorable moments for residents and visitors alike.

Friday, 6 February 2026
“As in the old days… a fire… a maypole… ALL TOGETHER!”
Location: Panagi Tsaldari Square (Perivolakia)
Time: 18:30
The Corinthian Carnival 2026 opens with an event inspired by traditional Carnival customs. Fire, music and the maypole create a warm, communal atmosphere, bringing together people of all ages.
Singer Panagiotis Lalezas participates alongside local cultural associations. Traditional treats will be offered throughout the evening.

“Let’s untie and begin” – Music event with the Senior Citizens’ Clubs (KAPI)

Thursday, 12 February 2026 – Tsiknopempti (Grill Thursday)
Street celebrations and traditional feast in the city centre
Location: Pedestrian streets of Corinth
Start time: 11:00
Corinth celebrates Tsiknopempti with live music, street performances and festive atmosphere throughout the city.
Live orchestra performances, choirs, DJ sets across the pedestrian zones and a traditional feast at the Municipal Market create a lively Carnival experience from morning until evening.

The Kaloy Modern Ensemble of the Kalogeropoulos Foundation presents a dynamic open-air performance, transforming the city’s main pedestrian street into a vibrant live music stage.

The Grand Carnival Parade
Location: Ethnikis Antistaseos Street
Start time: 16:00
The highlight of the Corinthian Carnival 2026.
Carnival groups, large figures, stilt walkers, musicians and the Carnival Queen parade through the city centre, creating a festive spectacle full of colour and energy.
The event is hosted by Markos Seferlis.
The celebrations conclude with a live concert by Andromache, starting at 18:30.
Prior to the parade, from 15:00, Carnival face painting for children and adults takes place near the roundabout of Ethnikis Antistaseos and Georgiou Papandreou streets.

Carnival parade along the main road of Chiliomodi, starting at 15:00.
