Cultural Routes 2026 | Detailed July Events Programme

A month of music, theatre, dance, science and culture across the Municipality of Corinth

The Cultural Routes 2026 continue throughout July with a rich programme of events extending from Stefáni and Chiliomodi to Solygeia, Ancient Corinth and the city centre.

Music, theatre, contemporary dance, astronomy and major cultural productions turn each stop on the programme into a distinctive experience, revealing different aspects of the Municipality of Corinth through culture.


▸ Sunday, 12 July and every Sunday
“Asterion” Observatory of Stefáni

The Stefáni Observatory opens to the public from Sunday, 12 July, and every Sunday thereafter, from 11:00 to 18:00.

Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in solar observations, presentations on astronomical topics and a guided tour of the observatory.

At the “Irene Papas” Theatre in Chiliomodi, the Athens State Orchestra, with 60 musicians on stage, presents the world premiere of Concerto of Korinthos by Cuban composer Leo Brouwer.

The concert features internationally acclaimed Corinthian guitarist Dimitrios Soukaras, while the programme also includes Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, “From the New World.”
